Monday music giveaway!

There is something about music that touches the soul~
It brings up every emotion and the first sound.
My friend Andy always introduces new music to us.
This is one of the most recent ones and I simply love it!

I would love to hear some of your favorite artists and songs~
I will draw a name from the comments on Tuesday night! :)

  1. Great song! Thanks for sharing it!!
I have SO many songs that I like right now. I thought about giving you my "Top 10" list, but I think I'll save that for a blog post. One artist I like is Ayiesha Woods. Her new song "Happy" makes me tap my foot and smile.

Recently my daughters dedicated a song to me: "Like My Mother Does" by Lauren Alaian. If you've never listened to it, check it out. I'm not a big fan of "country" music, but these lyrics are great! (I didn't know your Mom but I wonder if some of this would fit the relationship you had with your Mom!)

Also, another artist I just discovered is Hilary Weeks. A couple of hers (that are tear-jerkers) are: "Just Let Me Cry" and "If I Only Had Today."

I know this is WAY more than you asked for....sorry for being so verbose today! :)

  2. One of my favorite songs lately is from Adele "Rolling in the Deep" and "Set Fire to the Rain". But, I still like Pink's "Glitter in the Air" more. I also like "House that Built Me" by Miranda Lambert and Yanni's "Nostalgia" and "The Mermaid". From Loreena McKennitt, I love "Mummer's Dance" and from Enya my favorite is "Watermark". I guess those are my top songs at one point in my life :>

  3. I think it's easy to find a song you like, or even a song you love. However, I think it is pretty rare when you find a song that you feel was written especially for you or fits just the right situation. This song will always remind me of you, tiff, you have shown such strength and patience over the last few years. You continue to inspire me everyday!

Two songs that mirror my feelings in life right now:
    Ani Difranco, "Hearse". http://youtu.be/Iz6snoSNeE4
    Sara Bareilles, "The Light". http://youtu.be/H2mKdIhU_QQ
Enjoy! Thanks for your blog Tiffers!

  4. Don't count me in the drawing but lately I like upbeat dance type music. Like jump around and dance like no one is watching silliness. LMFAO or something with David Gueta. Maybe because I'm so emotionally focused on Russell so when I can I want to hear something to make me bust a move. Ha ha ha. :-) On the serious side I will always love I Could Not Ask For More by Sara Evans since I walked down the aisle to it. Ahh good memories. :-)

  6. Hey Tiffany! I know I'm so late for the giveaway, but I don't care. Just wanted to share one I just stumbled upon from Bon Iver: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Tp5fl18Ho&feature=youtu.be

And you've probably seen the "Somebody that I used to know" cover, but I keep it on replay... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9NF2edxy-M
