Where in the world....

Would you go...
If you could go.....
Anywhere....

Some of my favorite guidebooks are Insight Guides~
Do you have a favorite?
I have not been to all of the places in the guidebook photos, only some of them~ The others (and more) await!
Where are some of the most memorable places you have been?

  1. I love these types of questions!!!

I would go to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia
I would go back to Italy and swim the Blue Grotto in Capri
I would go visit my Dad in the Phillippines
I would go see the bright, shiny lights in Hong Kong
I would go Utah and visit YOU!!!!

  2. If I could go anywhere right now it would be to an island far away where there is quiet and lots of sun!

  3. I must say if I could go ANYWHERE I would take the time to travel all around the world. I'd definitely hit Japan, China, Australia and a bunch of places in Europe. Oh and some lovely tropical places are always nice too. :)

Regarding the most memorable places I've been... Well since I haven't gone many places I do love Hawaii mostly for the sentimental value it holds. A lot of my Mom's family is out there so when we visit I get to see aunts, uncles and cousins that I don't see very often. Plus it is beautiful so you definitely can't go wrong with a visit there.

  4. I had the good luck to go to France a couple of years ago and just prior to that had read Peter Mayle's books about Provence - hands down, my favourite guide books and they're not guide books at all! I love to read stories and then go to the places and try to see what the author saw in comparison to what I am seeing for myself.
As far as your quilting post question, that looks like something with pretty straightforward piecing and some applique. The most important thing is to work on something you really like - that's how you get through the tricky parts! Email me anytime you have a question and I will do my best to help.

  6. It is so hard to pick where I would go, there are so many places I want to vist. If I had to pick just one it would probably be Alaska, which isn't really very far at all. It seems like a whole odifferent world to me though.

I sent out your pen pal letter yesterday :)

  7. I have visited Peru and it has always been meaningful since my family comes from there. I've been to several European countries and I plan to go back someday. But in the meantime, I'd like to go to Australia. :)
