Do you believe in Angels....

Angels that walk among us....?
Could we really be Angels to each other?
I feel as though I have been lucky enough to come across Angels this year.
In my daily life...
In family~
In friends~
In coworkers~
In strangers~
In fellow bloggers (and the kindness that has been shown to me over the past year).
In a simple smile you receive when you are struggling harder that day for whatever reason...
A kind thought or comment...
A shared memory...
An encouraging word from a boxing coach on a day that you need it most...
A simple glance to show that someone understands...
An ear that listens to all of the things you have to say... Even when you say the same thing over and over again...
Encouragement...even when what you are doing may seem silly...
I am forever grateful to my "real life" Angels...
This past year has been simply the hardest of my life and without the kindness of the Angels I have been lucky enough to know, I would never have been able to get through each day.
So thank you.... from the bottom of my heart...

Pottery...

For about 7 weeks I have been taking a pottery class. I have gotten to use the pottery wheel a few times, and also made 2 charms.
Here are my first few pieces...this is my first time at pottery and I have loved it!

It is a beautiful fall day...

I went to the last Farmers Market of the year today. My mom introduced me to the Farmers Market probably 13 or so years ago. It is just another thing that I can continue to share with her.
The weather is warm and beautiful~ This is the kind of day that makes me think her, and miss her even more. I know how much she would love today. I can hear our phone conversation play out in my head, and I love that!
I saw one of her closest friends at the market, she is such a kind and genuine person.
My mom was so lucky to have such incredible friends, and I know how lucky they were to have her as well.
I love seeing people and getting to talk about my mom for even just a few minutes, I love to hear the memories they have of her and the kind words they say.
My mom was truly an incredible person.
I am so lucky to be her daughter....
Here are just a few photos I took at the market today.

And a Fall shot of my mom that I have shared before...

The first signs...

Some of the first signs of the changing season for me are the vines that grow on the old fences and huge trees in the yard...
They are so full and green throughout summer...
I love them in the Fall...

I know I have not blogged much lately ~ I am taking a sewing class again to allow time to work on my quilt kit (Sadly I think all of my time will be spent cutting the fabric)
And I am also taking a pottery class. I love it!
I will show things as I finish them!

And I have been knitting as much as possible ~ This is a scarf I am making for my sister for her Birthday~ I have a few days left and a long way to go!

Bittersweet...

Fall is bittersweet for me...
I love the cool, fresh air, The changing of the leaves,
Bringing out the sweaters and Uggs, being able to cozy up under blankets and read or knit.
But I have a harder time with Winter...
The days becoming shorter and getting dark so much earlier...
What do you do to make it through Winter?
Happy Fall!
