What helps?
I thought I would share a few books with you that people have recommended to me...
I have only started to read the first one (Legacy of Loss), I am about 30 pages in, and it does help as much as something can~
I hope that this can help someone else when I share these things because I know I am not the only one who has lost ~
I hope to continue to read these this year.
The title was a hard one for me because I do not feel like I am Motherless, not in the least. My mom was and always will be a HUGE part of my life~ I think of her every minute of every day. I feel her hugs, her support and her love always!
I am glad I got past the title because I do think they are great~
Does anyone have any other recommendations to share?

A few more scarves...
It is probably time to learn something new, but making scarves has been so great~
I love to be able to make handmade gifts.
It really comes straight from the heart!
I know that I get this from my mom! She loved to create and loved to share things with her family and friends. I cannot count the many gifts she gave me, and is still giving me! She was such an amazing person~
I am the very luckiest daughter in the world.

Giving is awesome! :)
I am an extremely lucky person. I am surrounded by so many amazing people! I have a wonderful family and such supportive friends ~ Old and New!
This post is Inspired by all of you~
What I have realized lately is how good it feels to give~ Something as simple as a phone call or a card or a smile.
The past few months I have "met" some incredible friends in the blogging community and my friend Jamie has a blog called Happy Mail which I have become a part of~ Once a month she assigns us all a name to send a card and small package to~ Through her I have met other amazing women. I truly feel lucky to "know" them!
In honor of the new women I have met I decided to follow in their footsteps and host a GIVEAWAY on my blog ~ First, because giving feels good and Second, to encourage people to continue to come back.
I love sharing my life and my moms talents with you!

One of my closest friends sent me a book (Have a Little Faith~ Mitch Albom) and inside she quoted this poem~ I think it can be for a Mother or anyone else who has died~ I just wanted to share because it touched me so much~ What incredible words~ Thank you Jennie!

Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me.
There are so many who need so much.
