Love this quote...

I have come across so many amazing quotes lately~ Just found this on Chasity's blog~
"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly.
"One must have sunshine,
freedom,
and a little flower."

Something has happened...

I have found out how much I love to write...
I have nearly completed a journal in just less than 2 months. I write for 10 minutes every day. Which turns into about 3 pages~ It is so strange how much I have really connected with putting my pen to the paper and I love it!
I ran across this song on my Ipod today and I the lyrics meant more to me than they ever have before. I just thought I would share them here :)
And a few photos too!

Unwritten...Natasha Bedingfield
I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, yeah, yeah

Profound words...

My 15 year old niece shared this quote with me and I simply fell in love with it...
"It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth - and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had."
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

What is it you desire?
What do you long to do in your life?
What lives in your heart and aches to see the light of day?
What is holding you back?

Thank you...

To the angels in my life that continue to whisper....
"Grow, grow."

"Every blade of grass has its Angel that bends over it and whispers "Grow, grow."

A little color....

One of my favorite things to do in the springtime is plant flowers in the pots on my front porch.
I love to brush off the cobwebs and any signs of winter and get my hands in the dirt and bring color into my life...

After....

Womens Figure Drawing workshop~

Yesterday I took an Italian Figure Drawing workshop for women. I have not used charcoal or pencils for a very long time. It is harder than I remember but also very gratifying to creative and make a charcoal mess and end up with something great in the end! Smart teachers have you bring a frame to class, that way you leave with a beautiful piece of artwork when you are finished. What a great class with very supportive and encouraging women~ We had a wonderful breakfast with cappuccino and pastries and a lovely Italian lunch ~ Here are some photos I took yesterday.
